A nice treat in the NC Mountains!!!! It was nice to see Jackie, Cris, and Bob trading leads and Jackie's banjo on Birdsong and China Cat sounded really nice.
Candyman - Deep Elem also sounded sweet.
Bob Weir, Chris Robinson and Jackie Greene paid tribute to legendary guitarist Doc Watson at Asheville, NC’s Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Tuesday night. Appropriately enough, the performance was part of the trio’s first-ever acoustic tour. After hearing about Watson’s passing, the trio opened their second set with his “Deep River Blues.” Weir described Watson as an “absolutely glorious and amazing human being.” - http://www.jambands.com/news/2012/05/31/weir-robinson-and-greene-nod-to-doc-watson
